WoW Addons P.1

Well, as I have previously mentioned, I had been stuck without the willingness to play/pay to play for World of Warcraft for some time, but about a week ago, I felt in the mood to play, and with some money in my pocket I finally caved in and purchased Burning Crusade along with a Play card. So, since I'm getting back into the swing of things there, and am trying to level my Troll Warrior to the point that he catches up with my friends in game. Other than that I have been all over the place as far as my life is concerned, so I apologize for the great lack of posts.

Anyways, back to the reason I am posting. There are a few WoW addons that I believe that you should know about if you are in the habit of playing WoW. Now this will not be a complete list of the addons that I have installed, but I will touch on a few that will make the world much easier to deal with, as a whole.

1. KTM - Threat Meter
If you have played WoW for awhile I'm sure that you are familiar with the concept of threat in the game. However, even the most seasoned player can be thrown off on some of these when it comes to the quantification of said values. KTM does just that for you. It tells you exactly what is happening with each player's threat (IF they have the mod installed so tell your friends or anyone that you play with often) in an easy to read bar. Now more often than not, I don't need the bar to tell me what is going to happen agro-wise (I'm a warrior, so it's pretty easy to know), but if you are playing a character like a mage, this WILL save your life by keeping monsters off of you and on the tank. Once you get towards end-game, this addon is a must. When instead of having to keep track of 5 people you know have to track 20, this addon will keep all of your clothies alive, if you play intelligently.

2. Quartz - Multi-tasker
This addon has many different uses. It serves as a better cast bar (keeping you current latency and displaying it on the cast bar so you know EXACTLY when you can start your next cast) as well as some other nifty things. Now, the cast bar is the thing that really makes this worthwhile for me, and trust me, with the number of addons I have installed, I HATE having some that do nothing for me. If you are a caster (or ever play a caster) this one is a must have.

3. XPerl - Interface Enhancement
If you have ever looked at your character's health/mana and portrait and think, man I wish I could move that, or man I wish that would track my XP, or man I wish that would show my health deficit instead of current health, or I just wish I could make it pretty, this is one for you. It allows you to change EVERYTHING with how your portrait and health looks and feels as well as pet things and party/raid interface. If you've ever thought that things could look better, or wanted it smaller/larger or moved or anything, then look for this one, and you will NOT be disappointed.

4. Bongos2 - Bar Enhancement
Now, I know this is another graphical thing, but this one is essential regardless of your class. Bongos allows you to change anything and everything about how your bars look (the things with all your spells/abilities/stances/pet/you get the idea) as well as your roll location, your menu, bags, keyring, and whatever can't be changed by XPerl, in other words. I currently have 5 bars
almost completely filled with my abilities as well as essential items (mount, food, blacksmithing, potions, you get the idea). If you would every have a use for it in the bar it can go there, as well as be moved around, locked and tweaked to your every need. Don't believe me? Check it out.

Well, I know that 4 isn't a lot, but if you're using something different (odds are that I've tried it) for your interface enhancements and think it's missing something you might what to give these a try. I know that it can be somewhat encumbering to deal with a whole new interface, but trust me... this will save you a great amount of time in the long run.
